RING (Research for Integrative Numerical Geology) is an academic research team of the École Nationale Supérieure de Géologie and the GeoRessources Lab, Université de Lorraine, France. Combining geosciences, applied mathematics and computer programming, it aims at developing methodologies to describe the geometry and properties of the subsurface consistently with observations (from outcrops, boreholes, geophysics measurements, or production data) and geological concepts. This research is done in partnership with academia and industry in the frame of the RING Consortium, since 1989.
