De quelques variables modulatrices des relations entre croyance en un monde juste, internalité et allégeance
Résumé
Some modulating variables of the relations between the belief in a just world, internality and allegiance : a study on unemployed persons
A positive correlation is observed for years between the belief in a just world and internality: those that believe that the world is just are more internal than those that don't believe it. We also know that exists a positive correlation between internality (considered as a norm) and norm of allegiance (that is to say the social valorization of the individuals who don't question the social structure and its powers hierarchy): the most internal people are also the most "allegiant" ones. Therefore, we made here the hypothesis of a positive correlation between the belief in a just world and the norm of allegiance. Moreover, we know that the unemployed persons generally are less internal than employed people, and also less allegiant if one compares their level of allegiance/no allegiance to the theoretical average obtained from questionnaires of allegiance. So we wished here also to verify as a preliminary hypothesis that the unemployed persons will have a weak belief in a just world.
Our discussion will be about the relations between the belief in a just world, internality, and the interiorization of the norm of allegiance, with more particularly a tentative of the structuration of the relations that these three variables maintain between them.
