Between cries and whispers: from one intimacy to another in a psychoanalytic group psychotherapy of children at latency
Entre cris et chuchotements : d’une intimité à l’autre dans une psychothérapie psychanalytique de groupe d’enfants à la latence
Résumé
The notion of intimacy runs through different theoretical fields and different times of psychic
development. Within the framework of a psychoanalytical group therapy of children in the
latency period, the authors are interested in the construction of the group psychic space
through the constitution of its intimacy. Based on a clinical situation, they address the
evolution of the nature and limits of this intimacy, subject to the modification of the framework
imposed by the pandemic and the confinement, from the point of view of both the group and
the therapists. The importance of the shift from shouting in the first period of the group to
whispering in the period of confinement will illustrate the changes in the modalities of sharing
intimacy.
La notion d’intimité parcourt différents champs théoriques et différents temps du
développement psychique. Dans le cadre d’une thérapie psychanalytique de groupe
d’enfants en âge de latence, les auteurs s’intéressent à la construction de l’espace
psychique groupal à travers la constitution de son intimité. A partir d’une situation clinique, ils
abordent l’évolution de la nature et des limites de cette intimité, soumise à la modification du
cadre imposée par la pandémie et le confinement, tant d’un point de vue du groupe que des
thérapeutes. L’importance du passage des cris, dans le premier temps du groupe, aux
chuchotements dans le temps de confinement illustrera les changements de modalités de
partage de l’intimité.
