Pour une analyse configurationnelle des élections. Norbert Elias et le vote.
Résumé
This article proposes an analytical model for the study of voting practices and electoral struggles based on Norbert Elias’ sociology of configurations. Initially elaborated to account for France’s census suffrage under the July Monarchy, this framework has been enriched and reconstructed to be able to foster comparative analysis of electoral configurations. The overall aim is therefore to produce a political sociology that is attentive to the circulation of knowledge that relate to elections.
