En partant de Naples , "Une charmante ambiguïté", p. 29-65.
Abstract
The am of the chapter is to explore certain affinities between the material conditions , or the very ground of the city of Naples, and certain defining traits of a Neapolitan accommodation of an underlying, conditioning instability. This can enable us to envisage challenges in the present: ecological accommodation to conditions not to be mastered, to be deciphered, patiently read, and to be adapted to. Drawing on the writings of Gius Garguilo on the city of Naples and on season in the city for the filming of his Decameron, the chapter points to the vital force of the oeuvre of Pasolini, unstable, intact in our present.
