Finite Plate Elements for Viscoelastic Sandwich Structures based on Sublaminate Generalized Unified Formulation

Résumé

The aim of this paper is to present a robust finite plate element for the analysis of sandwich structures, characterized by the presence of a viscoelastic layer. The FEM implementation is based on Sublaminate Generalized Unified Formulation (SGUF) for both PVD and RMVT formulations.
