Research Team: Psychologie sociale des comportements et des cognitions (PS2C)
Presentation
The team's work is based on the paradigms and methods of international social psychology.
On the one hand, research concern modeling in social cognition:
- socio-cognitive processes (stereotypes, emotions, intergroup relations, social judgment, etc.),
- processes associated with behavioral change (cognitive dissonance, rational and impulsive decision-making systems, etc.).
On the other hand, research work adresses applied and real life issues, developed within the framework of partnerships. This way of conceiving research involves institutional collaborations with public or private partners (collaboration contracts, CIFRE theses, etc.).
The research approach is largely based on the experimental or quasi-experimental method. The research team have an experimental platform and an experimental pool of more than 600 participants (dedicated rooms equipped with boxes, programming software, physiological measurement equipment).
